Beating Telus and Bell to the punch, Rogers has just released the BlackBerry Bold 9700 to the awaiting Canadian public.

Announced two weeks ago, this latest BlackBerry Bold is retailing for $299.99 on a 3-year contract, $499.99 on a 2-year contract, and $549.99 for a single year/monthly. Outright purchase price is pegged at $599.99. As quick recap, the BlackBerry Bold 9700 comes with a 2.44-inch 480x360 display, 3.2-megapixel camera, optical trackpad, highly tactile full QWERTY keypad, WiFi, GPS, 3.5mm jack and will ship with a 2GB microSD card a part of the package to address its paltry 256MB internal memory. The Rogers BlackBerry Bold 9700 is also preloaded with the urMusic app which helps differentiate it from what Bell and Telus.
