While we’ve already mentioned in the past that Rogers will be offering the BlackBerry Curve 8900 in Q1 of 2009, we’ve now got a more specific time line to work with. According to BGR’s source, the new RIM device will become available on Rogers in January. They’ve even gone on to say that it will cost $149.99 on a 3-yr contract. This should be reason enough for you BlackBerry fan boys out there to not to totally go wild on your Christmas spending. On a similar note, they’ve also managed to unearth news that a pink BlackBerry Bold will be released in 2009. I'm not a huge fan of pink, but I guess some sectors of the market will appreciate this new iteration.

As for the rebranded Fido, they too will be offering BlackBerry phones and it should come as early as the second week of December. Word is that they’ll initially be offering the BlackBerry 8120 Pearl in Oyster Pink and Grey for this year with the BlackBerry 8220 Pearl Flip joining in Q1 of 2009 with an estimated price of $50 on a 2-yr contract.

Of course, this is all just hearsay. Rest assured, we’ll keep you guys posted when we get confirmation on these matters.
