Sprint loyalists who felt a little bit left out with all the Droid festivities over at Verizon last week will be happy to know that it’s their turn to get treated some Android treats. To be more specific, Sprint is proud to announce that their new Samsung Moment Android phone is now available for retail.

Similar to the Motorola Droid, the Samsung Moment is yet another QWERTY touchscreen slider, and while it may sport a slightly less impressive 3.2-megapixel camera as opposed to the former’s 5-megapixel camera, this baby ups the ante with an AMOLED display and an 800MHz processor. WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, EV-DO rev. A, visual voicemail, 3.5mm jack, microSD card and a TouchWiz UI overlay round up the rest of its features. The Samsung Moment is Sprint's second Android phone next to the HTC Hero.

At $179.99 (2-yr contract, $100 MIR), the Samsung Moment is clearly not the cheapest Android phone in the market today, but with its very capable feature set, it looks well worth it. You can find out more by heading on over here.
