Not the best value for your money
The Micromax Canvas Nitro is not the best value for your money. At Rs. 12,900, it’s better to spend your money on the Motorola Moto G2, or save some money and buy the Asus Zenfone 5, or if you can, extend your budget and buy the Xiaomi Mi3. Buy the Nitro only if you can’t get any of these phones.
However, all of these phones are only available online. We think buying online is as good as buying offline, but if you can’t or don’t want to do that, then consider the Nitro. It’s not worth what it charges, but if it’s all you can get, then it&... Full review
Power packed performance, long lasting battery
The Micromax Canvas Nitro is the best smartphone in the 15K segment after the Xiaomi Mi3. Micromax has gone all out and put together an octa core phone for the price of a quad-core one. The phone manages to create a lot of friction against the much loved Motorola Moto G and with the Asus Zenfone 5 and ZTE V5 running a step behind in terms of performance.

Fast performance, brilliant display, and good build
The Micromax Canvas Nitro is definitely a decent smartphone in the range. Micromax has worked on the display, making it better. Even though it doesn’t have a unibody build like its flagship smartphones, the build quality is good. Camera is good for videos, but the photos could be better. It runs on Android 4.4.2 (KitKat), but it is doubtful if the smartphone would be updated to the next major version of Android. At a price tag of about Rs. 12,990, the Canvas Nitro is a decent smartphone in the range. If you can compromise on some disadvantages like the battery life, go for it. Full review
Lasts Long, Really Long
The Micromax Canvas Nitro does a lot of things one would expect from a smartphone and does them well for the most part (except for the camera, of course). It is priced at Rs. 12,900, which is a great bargain. Unfortunately for Micromax, the market is filled with a ton of options in this range and the upgraded Moto G is huge competition for the phone. The leverage that Canvas Nitro has over most of the other phones like the Asus Zenfone 5, Xiaomi Mi 3 and the Moto G (Gen 2) is that it will be available in retail channels as well apart from any one online store. We would recommend this phone... Full review
