Thanks Mr Manoj, i bought a same 'YU' phone on yesterday only and i too had a same problem of getting dark screen when we open a dial or close the dial, i am stunned and get into several settings option and finally i got it through your proximity caliberator, Thanks a lot, i don't know how many problems yet to face, guys, kindly suggest the performance of the Yu phone, is it better to change, since Micromax is not coming with the solutions even though these many users finding the same problems, dear Micromax pls concentrate on the issues related to quality of the product, regs sundararajan

I m also having the sme problem..... But xda developers helps me ...do 1 thing guys open the back cover of yureka and then take a piece of paper......n fold it and make it like a sim card by folding paper...n make it hard not much ..... then put it on the right side of the camera ....I mean top middle just lower the mic.. ....n then put the cover ......it will definitely work........remember if it will work then call YU customer service n tell them abt ur problems ............

ANOTHER METHOD This problem is known as Proximity Sensor issue. Here's the solution: 1.Just Dial *#*#7769#*#* (Proximity sensor callibarater) 2.You will see 2 options Start and Exit 3.Click on Start. 4.Move your finger over proximity sensor for 3-4 times and try to change the value on screen. 5.If values are changing after 3-4 tries then your problem is solved. This solution is very effective and we are very happy guys. But what about toll free number. I am not getting any reply from this number and found no service station addresses. Screen goes blank after dialing a number and pressing Call. (I didnot place it over my ear). The screen comes back when the call is disconnected (by the other person). My phone automatically got blank. So I restarted my phone by remove the battery and insert again. After rebooting screen getting blank. I have tried many times and same thing happening. I also tried to off the adaptive screen function but before starting phone screengetting lock. kindly provide the sloution.

If you are facing blank screen on calling a number on Cyanogen Mod 12 or 11 os then dial the code *#*#7769#*#* , you will see a proximity calibration screen, press start and wait untill the values are populated, press exit. Try calling a number again, your problem should be resolved by now.

Seems like a proximity sensor problem. Try this app I found in Google Play store: Proximity Sensor Calibration (link) It's actually normal that your phone is turning off when you put it near your face when calling someone, but it should turn on again when you put it away.

Guys I got the solution. First u remove ur back cover and see the top 3 screws r there. From the right hand side beginning one screw is there u tight the screw and also tight centre screw also. Now the problem is solved. I tryd it.

try solution for screen turn off when dialing a number on the Micromax Yu Yureka.Remove/uninstall true caller from app or go in setting of true caller/Caller id/ Pop-up position/ fix at bottom.

Remove the back cover there u will see 3 holes. Put a sim like folded paper over it. now reboot and make a call. the problem is solved now. this is the permanent solution..

Yes, Just take a sharp pin and press the center screw at the back of your phone..it will resolve the issue.. It just worked for me.

Dial *#*#7769#*#* a pop up will be displayed for Proximity Sensor calibration. Click on START. When you see Calibration Good, click on EXIT. Issue will be resolved

These cheap indian companies are not taking proper care after sales like other companies such as Samsung, LG etc. Neither micromax bother to response for Lollipop update for Canvas Nitro A311 nor providing it. Think twice-thrice before buying product from these companies in future.

Its coming an end to this year where is the up date for a311 no loyalty micromax i will surely sell this set n switch to Samsung atlest they fulfill there promises this is what a customer get in return from micromax

have the heating issue.. check the Battery Usage, you'll see it there. But sadly it's not fixed yet, and I hope CM developers noticed the problem and working on a fix. Many user are facing this problem like me, but luckily not everyone I guess. From day one I was facing this issue, I thought I got a faulty device, but after my research I figured out it's a CM bug. After pulling out my SD card and formatting my device, it was fixed... but for few days, after inserting few files in the Internal Storage the problem came back. The Device became hot like 50°C+ and the battery didn't even last for 3-4 hours, the device was totally un-usable.

I purchased you yureka around 1 month back. Because of its lots of system issues I was getting disturbed in my work. For each and every call, it was increasing my anger and yesterday it was a hight of my anger. I have thrown it on the road and screen got broken. Now issue is that, I contacted eBay within a time limit of refund but ebay has refused to refund money as the mobile was under manufacture warranty andthen seller contacted me as the bill was in his name from Amazon. Seller also contactep Amazon for refund but it was a 14th day after delivery date. So they also refused to refund. It was not myistake at all, and I had to pay nearly 9600 to buy it. I have suffered a lots of mental harresment due to this mobile. At last I thrown this mobile and I have lost its screen. I request to do something for me to get my money or else at least replace the instrument with a new peace that work perfectly.

I bought the phone and which was the biggest mistake of my life as this phone actually sucks it has lots of problem and now having problem with charging when ever i connect it to the charger it actually discharges rather then charging. Micromax will definitely repair the Yu Yureka since it's their product. As long as it's a product defect, it will be covered by the warranty. If damage to the phone is by accident, then you would have to pay for the repair. Micromax will still be responsible for repairs even after you're contract is up.

Do you have Wi-Fi in your place? I suggest that you use AirDroid (link). It's really easy and fast to use. Or simply use a USB cable to connect your phone and PC. Once connected, pull down notification bar and tap USB options > choose Media device (MTP). Hope that helps!

I have purchased it last yr July, I used it for 3 days only,it slipped from my hand and screen was broken as I stay in hostel, made complaint to cc , they came with in 3 days and collected my mobile and told me that they will provide an alternative mobile, but it took one month of repeated calls every day, at last I got my mobile, replaced some used mobile, cc and curiour people are worst harasser. Now the replaced phone is drained totally and not charging at all, tried with all new old chargers, but after 2 hours of charging also fine is not starting, this is Yu Yureka plus mobile working, spent 10000 , but not used it for 2 months, now I don't have phone at all, pls take wise decision of not buying this unworthy phone, spending money to buy problems.

Phone discharging instead of charging when connected to charger........ hardware issue. I had a similar problem. Took it to a local repair guy. Showed me a little ic has gone burst, most likely due to voltage fluctuation. IC is v small, 1x2 mm, close to charging port. He changed it. Said this ic prevented damage to a larger charging IC. However the problem persisted. Now he changed the charging port. Thanks god , now its charging properly for last 1 week. I was charged only 250 bugs.

I am facing the same problem, instead of charging the battery is draining. I am sure it is not an issue of charger or battery, I have read all above posts and come to a conclusion that the problem is only in the charging socket of the mobile, will go soon to any repair shop with full hope that it will resolve the issue.

I had this problem several times. The problem is not with your USB data cable, Your charger and Your Battery. The problem is of the board. Either change the board or change the USB port (Cheaper as board includes the port). That is the only solution. Stop buying data cables and adapters. Just go and repair the board.

i was also facing the same problem but i finally discovered the main reason behind it. this is not due to any specific charger or old battery, the problem is with charging socket. just contact any local mobile repairing shoppe and ak him to change the socket it will charge 100-150 rs and phn vl be working fine.

Even I'm facing the same charging issue in yureka plus which is 1.5 yrs old now ! It charges at times and then doesn't many times ! I have tried all cables n chargers ! But to no avail ! I think now I'll go to service centre for change or repair of USB port !

@ Adarsh, Can you pl tell what to do when the battery is getting fully charged and while on use it is getting discharged very fast ( Say in an hour or so). need to do 3 to 4 times Charging per day . Except the frequent charging requirements, the mobile is working absolutely fine.

Iam facing same dattery drainage issue. my phone was working right, but two week back while charging with laptop, I massage flashed on screen to increase the charging time, I clicked that now I am facing this issue. Please, suggest me some solution if anybody having any.

Even I'm facing the same issue.I've tried multiple chargers but the battery keeps draining out! The only option that is currently working is by using a Power Bank.My cell only charges when connected to a Power Bank. And stars discharging while using charger. :(

please dont purchase the MICROMAX YU mMobile it havi ng poor quality ,battery not run longer,front camera is poor

After using one year iam also getting same problem.The solution is restarting device.I think it is software bug.

Change ur charger with any micromax 1.5 A or 2A original charger & solve the problem
