Hello, The same behaviour on my new Optimus G too. The cell-phone could appear in operation without any visible status indicator. But it is actually out of service and I am unreachable from outside World. All calls will be diverted to the answering machine.

Hi Pamela. Have you contacted PC Mobile yet? If you haven't yet, call them to report your problem. It could be an issue on their end.

Try calling your carrier. Ask what your options are in locating your lost phone. Maybe they can track it or check the last location where it was used. Also, have you tried calling your phone? Hi Jason. How long have you had the memory card? If it still has warranty, maybe you can return it or get a replacement. But before you do, try using it with another phone. See if it heats up like it does on your Optimus Net. If it doesn't, the problem could be with your phone.

You probably have a lot of apps running in the background. I suggest turning down brightness and turning off Wi-Fi, GPS, and Auto-rotate. Uninstall apps that keeps running in the background (i.e. app that keep syncing).
