Same issue. When i am connected through wifi,i am able to get the notification, mail, WhatsApp msg and also i am able to surf internet via chrome browser. But when i am connected to mobile data (vodafone 3g) i am not getting any notification related to any social network and no mails notification,but i am able to surf the internet via chrome not even able to open play store via mobile data. (Non other sim's internet is working on my device (lenovo a6000) i putted aircel,airtel...but no notification only can surf on browser. Need ur valuable help!

I am also a lenovo a6000 user ,andI also suffering this problem,I was sending the mail on company complent help line address ,then company reply to t me . please update ur phone ,but this is not sufficient soln on notification problem .....

I have added whatsapp oin blacklist and also i have added on add account, still i am not receving whatapp notification regularly and also its late..once i open whatsapp and close it it remains locked at background and i receive mesages but after that if i open any another application and clear cache then whatsapp is unlocked and i stop receiving whatsapp noifications anymore :(

when i created account in whatsapp it says plz reboost your phone and when i reboost it then it is not working again why?

I have a solution ... go to setting then add account and add WhatsApp in it... then happy to get notification of WhatsApp

Just change the APN or create a new APN as per network.It will working fine..

setting---mobile data---Access point Names-- change it-- done

Press the the bottom left button for sometime.Drag the WhatsApp icon down.A lock sign will b tagged over WhatsApp icon.Now WhatsApp won't be closed on clearing ram and real time notifications will come.And Lenovo A6000 is one of the best phone,I have come across in mobile mart after vigorous search.

Hold the left side soft button and drag whatsapp downwards so it shows a lock sign on the icon. Now the app runs in the background even if you clean the ram. :)

Same problem not receiving whatsapp notification......

after restoring lenovo a 6000 to factory version my battery drains very quickly without any usage by 4 hrs it drained to 60% for charging it taking around 5 hrs mobile gets heating by the same time...

When you clean ran in the phone it disables all the background apps so . hold left side touchpad button and drag WhatsApp downward it shows a lock sign on it . also add WhatsApp to ignore list of cleanup icon

I am having the same problem not getting the whatsapp messages until the app is running once u release the ram the whatsapp is not receiving any incoming message even if i am connected to internet ..Does anyone has the solution for this problem please post it
