“The Lenovo offers much more than one would expect from a device at this price - a good screen, brand, performance, plenty of connectivity, and long battery life. Its camera output isn't the best but isn't worst as well. Thus it is worth every hassle that the flash sale is known for (it is only available via flash sales held every Wednesday). Thus a big thumbs up for Lenovo A6000. Go for it.”

“Does 4G make this phone worth it? In my opinion, no. The real benefit of 4G connectivity is in high-speed data usage, which translates to faster browsing, faster YouTube videos, and so on. However, the A6000’s poor performance as a phone negates the benefits of 4G connectivity. What’s the point of faster internet if your browser is going to crash? What’s the point of loading pages fast if the keyboard doesn’t pop up quickly enough to type what you want?Add to this, the A6000 is available only through Flipkart in the annoying flash sale model introduced by Xiaomi, where you have to register in advance and be super-fast in buying it. Lenovo has only released the phone in batches of 20,000, while accepting far more registrations. Hi guys, I had the same problem as you, my Lenovo A6010 delayed messages from whatsapp, viber, mails from GMail App... Basically every notification possible.. My solution was to turn off auto brightness (when you scroll down and see all the options, don't put your brightness on auto, put manually the level of brightnes as you desire). My conclusion was that, even though in options power saving mode(or whatever it name is) is off, auto brightness phone also sees as some kind of power saving mode and stops showing/recieving notifications until you start the app. I tried all of your solutions above and none of it was helping me until I tried this. When auto brightness is off it works as it should (even when app in problem is not running in the background). I assume there is a solution for making it works properly with auto brightness on but for now I haven't found it yet.

Hi guys. I used to have Lenovo Vibe X (S960) and now i have Lenovo Vibe Shot. I faced the same problem with both phones and found the solution for both cases. If Whatsapp, Viber, FB Messenger etc were not open in the background, I would not receive any notifications. As all of you here, I had to open the app to see if anyone had messaged me. Anyway, lets get to the solutions: For the X Vibe was pretty easy: just go to Settings-Notifications Center-Prioritize Apps there you can choose whatever app you like and even if they are not in the background (after you have cleared RAM) you will get the notifications. For Vibe Shot, since I still don't know where it's 'Prioritize Apps' menu is (maybe there isn't one and I have looked for it) I found another way. Settigs-App Manager-Whatsapp (or whatever)-Permission Management-Autostart and enable that bastard :-) (this one works on Vibe X and other Lenovos too) Personal note: for some misterious reason, Autostart is disabled on FB app too, but it still can get notifications through! on Whatsapp not! what the hell!? Hope I have helped you guys!

To remove google account from your phone, Please go to Settings>Account> Google accounts>Click on your gmail account ? Click on Option Button on your phone, When you click on that you can see the option as Remove account/. So, that you people can easily remove the Google account from your account with out reseting your phone.

If your device has capacitance buttons instead of onscreen buttons, you will have to select the button to the left of home button (extreme left). on touching it , two options - Remove account & sync will appear. select remove account. To reach this screen, go to SETTINGS --> ACCOUNTS --> GOOGLE.

Dear All Many of those problems above i have faced on my iPhone , Samsung , Lenovo and HTC Also . the solution was for me very difficult to search and recover lost apps to show some or hide them , to rename them or even change how they appear. finally i have got the solution myself. it's very simple. log on to your google account or the app store you belong to search for Nova Launcher or you can find it here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.teslacoilsw.launcher install it and enjoy what you want to do by hide icons , restore them , rename them or changing how they appear or back up them too. wish you all the best Cheers Captain Tarek Elagamy

rajudeen 15 days ago Good Answer Reply how to replace the app that was hidden by security in lenovo a6000. i have activated parental control in security app. but i got installed android upgrade lolipop version 5.0.2 after the update the security app options are totally changed there is no option to turn off the parental control.. and the app also in hidden can't see the app give me the solution to replace the app... thank you...

Lenovo a6000 is a nice phone. I have used it for 4 months now. The issue i am also facing before starting to use this phone is about the battery. I struggle to find out what causes the battery drains quickly. Later I found a solution. Firstly ,when your battery drains, there is a high percentage of currupted files existing on internal or external storage, eg: an mp3 or mp4 file, etc. If these currupted files exist in your lenovo a6000, it will cause the mediaserver to consume your battery very fast and as well heat your phone alot. But the fact is that you will nerver know which files are currupted unless you root your lenovo a6000. I have root my phone after i find out that media server eats up almost 65% battery. To find this, point to settings/battery. If your phone also turn out that media server consumes battery alot then its because of the currupted files. So when i have successfully root my phone, i can know what files are currupted through my pc. Once i know the files , i simply deleted and solution solved for me. If you would like to extend battery life, try using display at lowest brightness when you stay indoors. You can also disable some apps which you are not using often from the manage apps section. To disable some apps, you need to replace app with factory version which means an app version that comes when you first start using your smartphone. Turn your screen display to sleeps after 15 secs of inactivity. From my opinion, disable auto update apps from playstore, but it is required to update when you face some issue with the particular app. Hope this helps.. :)

1. See what's sucking the most juice. Navigate to Settings > Battery to see an organized breakdown of what's consuming your phone's battery. Applications and features will display in a descending list of battery hogs. If you see an application you barely use or a feature you never use, you'll want to uninstall the app or turn off the feature. 2. Reduce email, Twitter, and Facebook polling. Set your various messaging apps to manual for the polling or refresh frequency, just as a test, and you'll instantly extend your device's battery life by a significant amount. Once you see what a difference that makes, try re-enabling just the most important ones, and possibly reducing their polling frequency in the process. 3. Turn unnecessary hardware radios off. It's great that today's phones have LTE, NFC, GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, but do you really need all five activated 24 hours per day? Android keeps location-based apps resident in the background, and the constant drain on your battery will become noticeable, fast. If your phone has a power control widget, you can use it to quickly turn on/off GPS (the largest power drain), NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and LTE. On stock Android, swipe down to bring up the Notification bar, and then tap the icon on the top right corner. 4. Use the extra power saving mode if you have it. The aforementioned Galaxy S5 and HTC One (M8) both have Ultra Power Saving and Extreme Power Saving modes, respectively, that limits the phone to texting, phone calls, Web browsing, and Facebook. This can squeeze extra hours or even a day of standby time out of just a few remaining percentage points of battery. 5. Trim apps running in the background. From Settings > Apps, swipe to the left, you'll see a list of apps that are currently running. Tap on each one to see what they're for, you can stop any apps that you don't need running in the background all of the time. 6. Dump unnecessary home screen widgets and live wallpaper. Just because they're sitting on the home screen, seemingly inactive, doesn't mean they're not consuming power. This goes for widgets that poll status updates in the background, as well as ones that just sit there but look pretty and animated—not to mention animated live wallpaper. (But don't dump everything, as part of what makes Android great are the home screen customizations, just remove the ones you don't use.) 7. Turn down the brightness and turn off Automatic Brightness. It's probably obvious at this point, but you'll be surprised by how much this one alone helps to improve battery life. 8. Update your apps. Applications often get updated to use less battery power, so you should make sure your apps are up to date. Even if you configured the phone for automatic updates, some apps still require that you manually install updates. Check for app updates in Google Play by hitting the menu key and going to My Apps. 9. Keep an eye on signal strength. If you're in an area with poor cellular coverage, the phone will work harder to latch onto a strong-enough signal. This has an adverse effect on battery life. There's not much you can do about this one, but keep in mind that this could be the culprit behind a seemingly weak battery, it's worth popping the phone into Airplane mode if you don't need data or voice calls. Hi... I have the Perfect Solution for this...Step 1: Call the person to whom you want speak actually.... Step 2: If you want to add the person by calling the second person. Just Click on ADD CALL (This option will be enable only if the 1st person attends the call) Step 3: Dial the second person selecting from your contact list/Dial list. (Once the second person attends the call, automatically the 1st person call will be put up on hold Step 4: If you want to make a CONFERENCE CALL Just click on MERGE CALL which is displayed in your phone screen. Step 5: Now the network will automatically connect both the calls and it will display the name as Conference CallNote: If you want to add up more calls, do the same procedure...Hope this will help you..

hii sir my lenovo A6000 has lost its vibrating feature i have used the code ####1111# to test the my vibrating, i use single test method for testing my vibration but its shows nothing its just simply shows the meesage ((Vibrator testing,Press the stop button when u want to stop)) and at the bottom of the screen it shows FAILED SUCCESS RESET STOP what is the problem

as soon i find some solution with the problem,i backed out by pressing the option button(left one) there is vibration for a while. user raviharann uses a code ####1111# to test the phone. i tested with the code but my phote failed the vibration test.
