Im am lenovo a6000 plus user i also got that problems but im format the mobile and shows a whats up contact but still app lock is not working.

Just Turn off Battery saver
settings ->power management -> Battery saver

Had the same problem, tried all the above solutions, nothing worked.
This is the solution:
Settings>WLAN>More Options(by clicking the 3 dots on the top-left)>Advanced>Keep WLAN on during sleep
Change it to always.
That's it, problem solved.

I have same problem on my K3 Note, but cannot find Network Firewall within Data Usage. Moreover Data Usage is within Settings not Security option.

Please note I have installed latest updates from Lenovo on my device.

Can you suggest how can I access Network Firewall option in K3 Note.

i am having lots of issues in the phone
1> Whats app notification dosnt come automatically
2> Phone gets hang
3> 3rd and major issue >>when i press power button its dosnt show screen , its light dosnt on, so if any msg come or any call come i could not see that because of this problem

Guys the following worked for me in Lenevo A600.I bought it from Flipkart recently.

Go to Settings-> Mobil Data -> Access Point Names.

Change the APN to a different name(from the options provided).

Then open Whatsapp and it should work.....Try it....

Even I am facing when I am using Vodafone 3G can't use WhatsApp and IMO and other apps are using. When I am using idea sim then able to use whatapps and imo

Even i was facing the same issue that whats app and other applications like facebook , playstore was not working when i connected to WIFI, but all these applications working fine when i connect to Mobile internet. This is because all these applications were disabled in the network firewall in the security settings. Try this option , later all the apps will work properly.

Open Security APP --> Go to Data Usage --> Select Network Firewall --> Enable WLAN for all the applications which are disabled.

After this all the apps will work fine.

I am using Lenovo A7000-a . When I am using Vodafone 2G network I can't use social apps like Whatsapp , Hike, Fb. Messenger but I can surf. When I am using Reliance Sim then I am able to use social apps and surf.

I am lenovo user.. I am also facing the same issue.. When i connect to 3G/4G WIFI , i am not getting whatsapp notifications.. but it works fine when i connect to 2G mobile internet.. What is wrong in this phone..
