Why am I not getting notifications from WhatsApp in Lenovo A6000?

I am having the same problem not getting the whatsapp messages until the app is running once u release the ram the whatsapp is not receiving any incoming message even if i am connected to internet ..Does anyone has the solution for this problem please post it
There is security application called security IT on my K3 note.
Open it > Pure background > ensuite auto start is enabled for your desired apps, eg TrueCaller, WhatsApp, Hangouts.
Your Device is Rooted?
Have you run ccleaner / any other similar app? or have you block the autostarting apps?
All happens bcoz of this, be sure that you have enable the autostarting.
You can managed this by → Ccleaner/purify boost device → auto starting apps.
(This is for those who rooted device and then find this problem, by mistake you have disable and this all can happen.)

I have same problem in lenovo A6000 after upgrading my fhone. In my phone hike notification is not received, it is only received when i open hike messagenger, if any one have solution this problen then plz send me.

I got the solution for this by uninstall the app and reinstall it again.
it works fine now.
Try to change the network access point settings. i am sure it works.
In Lenovo K3 Note/A 7000 /A 7000 Plus, go to Settings>Power manager? Background App Management and uncheck Whatsapp from the list. It works.

Some users suggested factory resetting the phone after update to fix the issue. It worked on some Lenovo A6000 users. Please keep in mind that when you factory reset, all the data/file in the phone will be erased so backup your files first before doing it.

Hi, For Lenovo A7000 - I am using Vodafone no for What's up & Tata docomo SIM for 3G Mobile Data. I can use all online application through Docomo but what's up can be used on Vodafone 2G network only.
I want to use Vodafone Whats up trough Docomo 3G network. Any solution?

follow the steps:
settings -> mobile data -> access point name -> vodafone kolkata/wb (do this settings...change acess point name VODAFONE KOLKATA/WB from vodafone live/vodafone mms/vodafone connect)
I had this problem and fixed it u go to notification center prioritized apps and select your apps that u want to get notifications from and it will work
Go to settings select data uses then disable restrict background data.
The only solution is
first of all backup your all contacts in SD card/google account. it will need to be import after this steps.
1. Navigate to Settings - > Apps - > All Apps
2. Search For contact and Contact Storage
3. Clear Both Apps Data
