Will Asus join Google in the Open Handset Alliance? That is the question that many techies are waiting to have answered. It could be that Google and the rest of the bunch finally took notice of Asus when news surfaced of their upcoming touchscreen phones, the Glaxy7 and P552w. If Asus does push through and joins the Alliance, that will indeed be a welcome addition to the group and the Android forces as things have also recently picked up for the Symbian Foundation. Who knows, it might not be too long before we see an Asus Android phone on the market.
