After getting leaked last month, we've now received confirmation that Rogers will be ready to unleash the BlackBerry Curve 8520 within the week.

Rogers BlackBerry Curve 8520

This relatively new trackpad-equipped BlackBerry smartphone is retailing for as little as $99.99 on a 3-year contract (promo). Opting for a voice only plan on a similar term will cost $349.99, a 2-yr contract price is pegged at $399.99 while the single year contract price stands at $399.99. An outright purchase of the BlackBerry Curve 8520 will set you back $449.99. While that's not not exactly what we would call cheap, this is a world phone (quad-band EDGE) that also boasts Mac compatibility right out of the box, Bluetooth and a 2.0-megapixel camera with video capture capabilities.

The BlackBerry Curve 8520 should be available in all Rogers retail outlets within the next couple of days. If you can't wait any longer, you can likewise check it out at Best Buy Canada.
