Did you just get yourself an HTC Dream/Magic Android phone and feel a little bit cheated with the absence of the newly introduced Sense UI? Well, here is some good news for you.
It’s just been confirmed that the new Sense GUI overlay included in the HTC Hero will also be made available for other HTC Android phones. Here’s a quote from none other than HTC CEO Peter Chou making this latest revelation to Pocket-lint:
"HTC sense will be available on some other existing devices."
Unfortunately, he didn’t go into specifics as to which existing Android phone will actually get blessed with the Sense UI. Nonetheless, granted that the HTC Hero is more like the HTC Magic, our guess is that this more recent Android phone will be the one to get the optional enhancement. Likewise, we still don’t know when it will be released to the public, but confirmation of a Sense UI update coming soon is good enough in our books.
