Nokia has just entered into a partnership with Rogers to provide Nokia users access to N-Gage and Nokia Maps app services in Canada.

This is a first time Nokia has teamed up with a wireless provider in the North American region and they’re optimistic that it will be beneficial for both companies as well as the general public.

Both N-gage and Nokia Maps services will initially be available to Nokia N95 8GB phones only and will probably be offered to other compatible phones as the months go by.

However, no specific pricing was given to the mentioned services. I guess we'll have to wait for further announcements or when it does go live to find out.

With this new agreement between Nokia and Rogers, it looks like the Finnish mobile company is determined to make its presence more felt in Canada's cell phone market by making its premium services directly available to users.

Will this new union be a success or a bust? What do you guys think? The full press release can be found below.
