you need problems ? try fizz

Horrible service, I never got my sim card and my money back. Impossible to really know what happened. Get a real company, not a robot who doesn't listen to you. I've seen a lot of problems in their forum. Seem like they have a lot of people to refund.

ABSOLUTE TERROR -- MUST READ!!!

My line got cancelled right after they attempted to take payment from my credit card. I tried to call Fizz by 611 as they suggest. 611 says that the number is blocked and I should call 611 (yup.. thats right). I borrow someones phone to call the bank about my card to find out that it was part of a bunch of cc numbers that got hacked from a site. I go to Fizz to add a new card. But the button to add a new card is not showing on their site. They have a bug and they're working on it but I have to wait for it to be fixed to add the card. They cant unsuspend my line (my business line) until I pay them. I cant pay because their site does not allow me to add a card. I ask to escalate the situation to activate the line. Sure Mr... It will take 24 to 48h for a manager to contact you.. Wow.. You could not make this stuff up. And... I cant transfer the number to another provider because its not active. Fizz is a nightmare.. STAY AWAY...

Fast & Cheap!

I went from Fido to Fizz ASAP as soon as i found out the competitive prices they had, on top of that i used a code which got me an extra 35$ off (I3SVW) For those wondering) and i paid three times less then what i paid with Fido.

Fido had me over at 75$ bill and with Fizz I'm paying 40$ and i have twice as much Data then with fido, so overall with a coupon code and a good plan, you will be saving a lot and its way worth it.

Perfect if you don't need to use your phone

I switched to Fizz so I could keep my phone number when I was travelling abroad for few months. I was quite impressed how cheap was the data package for Latin America. However once I returned home, most of the time I tried to do outgoing calls, I was just impossible. Many emails later and even few call back from the guy at technical support, still the same issue.

You bet i love it!

I was anxious about the process of transferring my current number from Telus to Fizz. I’m happy to report that process was completely effortless. You simply select your previous carrier, enter your phone number, then account number at Telus. Then you wait to receive an email to insert the new Sim Card. In my case complete process took about 15 minutes. Everything is working great and voicemail was easy to set up. ...

Works fine

I went with Fizz about 7 months ago. I have had no problems. I don't use much data so I really saved a lot of money. I am considering switching to their internet but I can't find enough reviews.

The pros of the service is that you pay less than other carriers. I guess the cost comes with their lackluster coverage. But by FAR the WORST thing is their customer service. You contact them through chat on Facebook, and they never fix your issues.  A few days ago was the second time that our car broke down on a freezing highway, and when we tried to call the 511 road assistance number to get a tow truck, and Fizz blocked the call.  Not giving access to essential numbers is not only irresponsible but I bet it might even be illegal.  This had also happened last year and they had told us that the problem was fixed.  We had a child in the car and were freezing for over half an hour until luckly another car stopped and we used their phone (Telus) to contact roadside assistance.  My only piece of advice is to stay away from this Videotron and Fizz.  Videotron overcharges for a mediocre service and Fizz resells their service wrapped in a horrible customer experience...

Today, was the first time that I have seen this company Fizz advertised.

Initially I thought the rates were a bit questionable.

I Googled the name to find out who owns this company and to get its location.

I suspected that this unknown name Fizz, would have all the tale tell signs of "never ending credit card charges" long after you cancel....along with their direct line to - nowhere - customer service.

Thank You all for writing  reviews, you were absolutely "spot on" with the assumptions I too, was confident  would be read from other personal experiences.

Lol, any ratings higher than 1/10, weren't worth my time to bother looking over....

cause it sounds to me like Fizz is a bunch of newbies out of college, all with average grades - one with web pg design, one with marketing, a little IT knowledge, and sales etc.

All trying to play like they're big boys,  in the High Tech Telecommunications field...

Maybe all of your negative reviews will wake them up to all the mistakes that they could have avoided, by preparing themselves with the proper education needed to run a successful business

Good place to get flustered.

If you like troubles-get Fizz

Good place to waste money and generate frustration

Prices looked good. Ordering a sim card looked simple. Paid for the sim card. They emailed me saying that I received the sim card even though I don't have it. They say they are not responsible for deliveries.

Fizz is the best carrier IMO

Fizz is the best carrier in my opinion because they have extremely low prices and they are easy to use. They’re 100% online so you do not need to call somebody to do things with your account.
