unprofessional, no consideration for customers

We scheduled an instalment appointment for their wifi service, waited the full 5 hours at our home for them to arrive but they never did. We messaged and emailed and was told to wait another 24 hours then to schedule a whole new appointment? As busy people who are PAYING for this (lack of) service, this is a really big inconvenience - how does it make sense give money to be suffering the consequences created by the service provider? Upon seeing other reviews I learned that this has happened many times to other people, which is ridiculous. They are disorganized, unprofessional (at the customer's expense), and have mediocre customer service.

Stay away from Fizz or you will hate you didnt.

I have been a beta tester since the beginning and have 3lines with them and it is very cheap actually because i have been paying 7$ for the 4 months of beta of they provided, which is originally 3 months and they extended 2 more months total of 5 months because of all the disrupted service that they have.

So recently i my credit card just got charge full amount because they fail to remind me from my email that service will change soon, ok that is fine, but now my other number got charge full again after i downgrade my service to just text and call which is 18$ plus tas compare to 41$, and now as i can see in my online fizz account that my next payment is 53$ plus tax, that is after i have downgraded my service. The only reason i am in fizz is the cheap price but other than that i am going somewhere that is realiable and with customer service that you can talk to. My next option is zoomer wireless my wife is with them for almost 2 years now and dont have this kind of issue. So stay away!!

Warning to Current and Future customers.

I left Fizz 4 days ago, went with another company. fizz have yet to close my old account, and are still charging me. This is after my informing them of my leaving, after using the unsubcribe option on their web page. Even after you leave to another company, you cannot remove your credit card from their system. If you request such in chat they tell you it can't be done and it will automatically be removed after the transfer to a new provider.

This is a lie, they've charged me another months services. i left 3 days before my last month finished. Don't get caught by this company. Screen shot everything.

I had to send screenshots to my bank to prove that they said i would not be charged. But you may not be able to do the same without written proof. After using the unsubcribe option, the page refreshed, and the option disappeared, the chat bubble is gone now and has not returned in the past 4 days. i've gotten no reply from their emailing team.

I cannot remove my credit card from their systems, even though i don't even have an account with them anymore, my number has been with another company now for 4 days.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. You will be robbed, guaranteed. .. ..

(My Original review)(Updated as of 2019-04-09 April 9th)

With the last 2 big outages lasting most of the day, on two different days. sub par services throughout the last month, random text message problems, many missed calls, flaky internet services, literally countless texts missed from friends and family ( speaking with these people after the text were sent)

i found that in the last month I've missed more than 40 less than 100 messages. missed at least 15 calls from people, they even told me that my voice mail was not working. (all in the last month)

you're literally giving a company money, then with their contract as it stands, if they have outages, or if your suffer from bad services, regardless of the hardware or devices or location use, if its not working, its not their problem. but you still have to pay them. ... they wont reimburse you for missing anything critical, important or life depending.

you paid for and choose to give up your right to a stable service, because they've informed you that their services are still young and their working through bugs...

Network showing that it's active, but callers being sent to my mail box, network being active, but my own calls failing to connect,
data is shown working, but pages tell me to connect to internet to continue to load.

Paying for a service, that only seems to work when you don't need it is a bit off putting. Cheaper costs is only worth it, if the service actually works when needed. Missing important calls is not worth cheaper services. missing meetings, appointments, or any other time critical situation, is not worth. losing the ability to make an emergency call during an actual emergency, is not worth it. i've used Fizz mobile for a period of 3 months. in the middle of Montreal City, good network Towers and signal for other service providers.

I use a Sony Z5 Premium. in the 3 years i've had this phone, i've never had problems with my network provider.

Its been 4 days since i've gone, and 3 days since i've informed them of my leaving. i have acknowledgements from their chat bubble staff that i would not be charged for the next billing cycle since I had moved to another provider.

If i didn't have my screenshots, i'd have been out of pocket.

don't get caught.

I can totally relate to this problem because I have been experiencing the same issue with them, the option online to modify your service does not match the receipt email compare to the email update of service from Fizz.

Better coverage than my former provider and best price ever

The prices are good and the coverage is almost perfect in Ottawa-Gatineau region.  Better than my former cellphone provider Virgin Mobile. Never had any really annoying problem for months I'm with except a few small glitchs here and there. Of course you have to ask some questions and read some answers on the forum, but you'll find a lot of answers.

Good signal service

Strong signal service, better than Bell I had before. One third less cost than Bell for same service. Battery power lasts longer now compared to before.

Dan

No glitch across the US border.

So far I have been living on the US for two weeks with a $40cad plan. No glitches. No extra charges. Full service in all aspects of my chosen plan. 2 gigs, unlimited text and voice. Unused gigs roll ever for up to two months.
