ZTE ZMAX Pro User Manual

Hi Ursula. Were you using headphones when the music player issue happens? I'm thinking the headphones may have a broken wire that's why music player randomly stops because it thinks you disconnected the headphones.

Hi Ursula. Using a pin/needle, carefully scrub it on the side the audio port. Make sure it is clean. Also, have you tried using a different music play app?

No I was not using headphones. Playing it out loud. Any other suggestions? I'm so frustrated.

Open the screen and look for the speaker looking icon, tap on it to get out of loudspeaker mode.

I wouldn't suggest doing that 'cause that will void the warranty. But if you persist, I think they used adhesive on the back cover. From the videos I found for removing non removable battery back covers, they heated up the back first then used suction rubbers to pull it. I'm still not sure though how easy it will be to remove the battery. But again, I remind you that doing removing the back will void the warranty.

IT seems like a common problem but I see no answers yet. Seems the proximity sensor stops the playback. It may be the screen going black that stops playback, but either way it seems that you cannot hold the phone to your ear to listen to messages. Anyone else find a fix?

You get a notification that phone will be available to buy. And right now, it looks like it's already available from MetroPCS.
