To find out if your phone's issue is covered by warranty, contact ZTE and ask how and where you can bring your phone for repair. Only after they check your phone can they tell if repair cost will be covered by warranty or not.

Check the battery for any bulge. If it has, change the battery ASAP. If it looks normal, I suggest that you take the phone to the store where you bought it and have it checked.
