Well that's odd. What was the last thing that you did before that happened? Also, please drain your battery then fully charge it while it's off. Then see if that changes anything.

Is there a way to get to the address book without going through the menu on the Rugby 3? Can one of the soft keys be set to do that?

You can connect your device to a PC as a removable disk and access the file directory. If you insert a memory card in the device, you can also access the files directory from the memory card by using the device as a memory card reader. 1. Insert a memory card into the device to transfer files to the memory card. 2. From the Idle screen, press Menu âž” Settings âž” Connectivity âž” Select USB Mode âž” Mass Storage to make sure Mass Storage is set as the USB mode. Navigate back to the Idle screen. 3. Attach your device to the computer with the USB cable. Your computer recognizes the connection and displays the AutoPlay screen. 4. Click the option to Open device to view files. You should see a Removable Disk folder. 5. Copy files to or from the PC from or to the memory card. 6. When finished, close the PC folder and disconnect the USB cable

No. Apps and upgrades are limited, but if you need a phone for reliability in rough conditions, this is it! Three years on my Rugby III in the wrecker & recovery business and it still works. While not a smartphone, the features it does have all work pretty well and reliably. Mine has bounced off concrete, been run over on the roadside, dropped in mud & water and still works fine. Did I mention it is tough?

When you go to AppCenter, do you see any option for apps to be removed? Otherwise, I don't think there's a way to delete or disable those apps.

Hi Dianne. Try this: Go to Settings then > Voice Input and Output then > Text-to-speech settings, Now Un-tick Driving Mode.Let us know if that's what you're looking for.

I'm sorry, I would love to help but to be honest, that is really hard without the phone on hand. I suggest taking the phone to a Samsung authorized service center. Please let us know how it goes. Good luck!
