What the Critics Are Saying...

Gadgets Now

The Galaxy S10+ excels in design, display quality, performance and software experience. As far as the battery is concerned, quite frankly, there is very little useful battery innovation in the Galaxy S10+ that could beat the OnePlus 6T. As far as the camera is concerned, overall, the Galaxy S10+ off...

The Samsung Galaxy S10+ isn't perfect, but it isn't far off either. If you can look past the handset's clunky fingerprint scanner and disappointing battery life, the smartphone - albeit expensive - is the best Android smartphone you can buy right now.

- Carly Page, The Inquirer

Samsung does justify the price by offering what is probably the best display on a smartphone right now. Moreover, you get an A+ performance, and so much RAM and storage that you probably won't know what to do with. You also get a solid battery life for a flagship phone and an ultrasonic fingerprint...

The only area where the Galaxy S10+ falls short is when it comes to low-light photography.

Thankfully the fit, finish and screen are simply amazing, performance is good, battery life is good, the cameras are a lot of fun, the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is really good, you can wirelessly charge something else, and it even has a headphone socket and a microSD card slot. All that packed into a device that weighs less and is easier to hold than most of its big-screen competition.

The Galaxy S10+ also has one more camera than the previous generation, that's true, but improvements in every respect (both hardware and software) are undeniable. Whether you own an S8 or an S9, it makes little difference. After trying each of the devices in this series I can say with absolute certainty that the generational leap is here.
