For its specification and its price tag this is perfect for someone who is constantly on the phone who needs battery power that can survive the endless scrolling or gaming throughout the day. This is a perfect daily driver for you if you . As mentioned above, the Galaxy A71’s specifications and performance definitely matches its price tag, and dare I say it would still be worth even if it was higher.

Unless top-of-the-line features and specs are absolutely needed, this is arguably the perfect Android smartphone for most people, as it should check the necessary boxes for all but the most hardcore Android users. It offers solid performance, long battery life, plenty of camera options and even a headphone jack, while possible downsides for some may be its plastic back, mediocre single speaker and its tall screen aspect ratio.

From both the main and ultra-wide cameras you can expect well-exposed images in good light, excellent dynamic range and well-saturated color, but blue color casts can also make outdoor images disappointing. Detail is generally low in all images and regular autofocus failures in low light can be frustrating. Samsung has significantly improved the bokeh rendering on the A71 compared to the A9, which is a bonus for portrait shooters, but the quality of both zoom and night shots is low.

The phone has promising internals and refined design DNA. Samsung has somehow managed to keep this mid-range offering packed yet petite. However, just like its form factor, the competition also leaves a slim space for it to shine. Now, an area that can make all the difference is the cameras, something which demands serious testing from our end.

A good mid-range smartphone

from Notebookcheck

Overall, the A71 is not a compelling upgrade over the Galaxy A70. While the A71 is a good all-rounder, there is hardly anything new about it. The Galaxy A70 is around 100 Euros (~$108) cheaper than the A71 too, giving people hardly any reason to switch to Samsung's latest Galaxy A-series smartphone.

An attractive and powerful smartphone

The Galaxy A71 is a tangible upgrade over the A70 - it has a smaller screen cutout, faster performance, better all-round camera, and newer Android and One UI. But like other Galaxy A phones to come before it, the A71 is neither cheap nor competitively priced.
