I also broke my screen and was so shocked of how the repair was to cost me so much money.I think it is down to the fact that the lumia screen is complete with the digitaliser which means you will have to replace the whole thinks unlike in samsumg phones where you only replace the screen.Nokia should make a change to that or at least the lumia phones should come with a custom screen protector.

Carl P I beg to differ I donot buy this argument that it matters how did it fall down, because, none of the fone companies, viz samsung OR lg OR earlier Nokia, have so fragile glasses (it actually is a Corning Gorrila glass). And replacing the screen is hell of money, i mean second hand fone's cost?

Warning If you want to change the Microsoft account you use on your phone, you must first reset your phone to factory settings, which will delete everything you've ever added to your phone. So make sure that you back everything up first. Note that you'll also need to re-buy anything you've bought that requires a Microsoft account to use, including apps, games and music. 1. Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable, then back up your pictures, music and videos. 2. In the App list, tap Settings > About. 3. Tap Reset your phone. If you want to delete the contents of your SD card, tap Erase SD card too. 4. When the warning message appears, make sure you're really ready, then tap Yes > Yes to confirm. Your phone will restore itself to factory settings. 5. When your phone restarts, it will guide you through setup. When you get to the Keep your life in sync screen, tap Sign in, then follow the instructions to sign in with the account you want to use. Source

Ken, this is a known issue that dates back to older models such as the Nokia Lumia 920. Apparently it is caused by the NFC feature, and the way to stop the sound is by disabling Tap&Send under the Settings. Here's how:First go to Settings, then look for Tap Settings > tap+send, and switch NFC sharing to Off. Hope this helps!

Oh, that's great! I tried turning quiet hours on/off, switching the setting for Lock on/off sound... And only turning NFC off was working. Thank you.

Currently Windows Phone does not support Swype or any other keyboard app.

That's odd. Are you getting any errors or something when trying to login? Also make sure you have good internet connection.

Hi michelle. You need to press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds for your phone to completely turn off. If you just press it, it will only put your phone to sleep.
