The Palm Pre has already created a buzz that will undoubtedly help Sprint draw in more customers, but it seems that Palm is apparently working on yet another webOS enabled device called the Palm Eos.
The Palm Eos is expected to come with a 2.63-inch 320x400 capacitive touchscreen display, 2-megapixel camera with flash, Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP and EDR support, A-GPS, and 4GB internal memory. Its specs might not be overly impressive, but its measurements sure are. Measuring a mere 10.6mm thin and 55x111mm in width and height, this has got to be one of the slimmest and most compact Palm devices to date. The Palm Eos will be a GSM mobile phone, unlike the CDMA Palm Pre, as it is slated to debut on AT&T. Rumored price is $349 which isn’t too bad for a mobile phone of its caliber.
No word yet on when it will exactly be released into the market, but considering that the image provided is still just a rendering of sorts, our conservative guess is that it’ll debut sometime in the latter part of 2009.
