From past experiences with other cell phones, I can honestly say that this was the best phone I have ever had, so far, I have had Lg Rumor & Voyager, Samsung Instinct and the Motorola KRZR and none of those phone compare to the great experience with this phone, the phone was durable and east to use, the only major problem I had was that the battery life wasn't too great. The only reason I don't have the phone now is that I lost it in the water, and haven't been able to find another one that was even similar to it. Would strongly recommend this phone to anyone that doesn't want a very complicated cell, and if you looking for durability. Less

I bought this phone because it looked really nice and small. After about a month of using it i started to recieve duplicate texts. I then called the customer service line and they said they would reset it and everything would be fine. After about 2 weeks the problem came back, so i called the customer service line again and the agent told me that every night i need to take out my battery and keep it off for five minutes!! That is unacceptable I paid a lot of money for this phone, if i would have known that half the time I cant send or recieve texts I would have never bought it. Another thing that is bad about this phone is that it constantly freezes and turns off by itself. I would not recommend this phone to anyone, it should be taken off the shelf!!! It is the biggest rip off!!!! Less

Glorified crap...just like the Razr v9

Pro: I like the look, weight, feel, layout of both phones. But like a high-maintenance pretty girl, the benefits stop there. Con: Both phones had quirky problems loading their own software, reading memory cards, interacting with Motorola Phone Tools via USB (on *any* setting), shutting off inadvertantly, getting frozen on start-up, freezing in the middle of anything, not displaying wallpapers taken *by* the phone in question, losing music directories it previously read, sending-recieving duplicate txts (sometimes continuously for over an hour), not sending-recieving txts for 24-48 hours, not connecting with *other* Motorola accessories (even the $50+ accessories are crap)...ad infinitum. Funny that we have quirky troubles with our newer Motorola Two-Way radios at work, while the two or three old clunkers with bad batteries still work just fine when charged. Has Motorola gone the route of Black & Decker (power tools) and Square D (commercial-industrial electrical) and ruined a reputation for solid products by producing glorified crap??? I'm afraid so. Swearing off *all* Motorola Products here. Can't do any worse! Less

Horrible phone

I have the exact same problem as stated before. "This phone was working good for the first year while I had warranty, but after that it started getting slow, not sending messages, freezing up, restarting at random times'". Those are the exact same problems I have.

I have had several motorola phones in the past, from "DPC" models to Razr. I got this phone few months ago...love it. Easy to use and call quality is exceptional. Battery life, well that is nothing like what some people are saying. I can talk on this phone using bluetooth for over couple hrs. Not to mention sending and receiving texts. The only problem I have is charging. When plugged in, I have to play around with the charger to get it to charge, but then that could be a charger issue. Less

Pro: A nice size phone Con: Battery life poor, slider is sloppy, turns its self off.... I have this as my secondary phone. I have the second phone because where I travel a lot there is very limited coverage and nothing that works good there has good coverage at home. I have had nothing but bad luck with it, from the start I noticed the slider was sloppy. It only got more sloppy with time. The battery at first would last a few days, after a month it was dead after 1 day (about 10 minutes of talk time and I do not use the music player, I was very unimpressed with the quality and how long loading was.) After about a week it started just powering off and restarting itself. Overall, It just feels like it is a cheap phone with a few extras to try and pass it off as a higher end phone. And on a side not, why are all the phones now either flips or sliders? The only phones I can find that arent are smartphones and I only need 1 of those. I do have a fairly high impact job and usually choose my phones accordingly to that. My primary phone has lasted nearly 2 years of being carried around, dropped from 4ft+, used in the rain, and still works great. Less
