1. Call at Micromax customer care no. : 18605008899 2. Tell them that you are not able to update hike. 3. They will send a message to you in which there is one link. By clicking on that link, latest version of hike start downloading. 4. Install that file and your hike becomes up to date.

hey frndss....here's the solution for getting hike updated with rooting unite 2. Just you all have 2 do is to visit m.mimicromax.com/application and get the inbuilt apps updated...njoy uh hike nw

Heres the solution, Just install any bloatware removing app and uninstall hike from system apps , now go to play store and download the new hike . . Thats it , problem solved.

What to do when SIM card is not detected after update on the Micromax Unite 2?Recently I OTA upgraded my Unite 2 to Lollipop from the phone system update!! It worked but after upgrading no sim card is detected.... Opening STK it shows insert sim card first Nothing shows in Dual sim management I tried to reboot ... wait for a few minutes and tried again ! But nothing happens!! I tried with a different sim also ...Please help me !!

After that i tried a lot for solution but i can't get the result. Then i downgrade to again 4.4.2 but the problem persist. Now the situation is very frustrating. Guess....i solved this problem once in my micromax juice....i might little bit complicated but try this..... tried but still no use. i update firmware downgrade by using scatter file and ebr files but still of no use. i downgraded from android 5 to 4.4.2 but same problem presists. i too tried using different sim cards of diff sizes. Please help.

I hav rooted my micromax unite 2 , then uninstall the hike app . Then i tried to install it from external apps like playstore or mobogenie but it cant be installd . Now i dont know wat to do even i hav deletd the builtin version ..please hlp me....

I'm sorry to read that, but in my opinion, if the motherboard is damaged, I will just buy a new phone. Replacing it won't be a wise idea cause it will cost a lot to replace.

please get a new mobile phone. 10 days before I was facing the same issue - the service center guy informed that replacing motherboard is little tough and costly as well, alongside no guarantee. I got a new mobile rather than taking Risk.

Unite 2 has app storage for only 900 mb which is not sufficient for storing apps.You can increase app storage upto 5.6 gb.First root ur unite 2.Then install cmw recovery on your unite2. Then download zip file from http://www.micromax unite 2.net website. Keep this file on your external sd card make sure that it is on your sd card. Now flash it.ur app storage will be increased.Another way is to root your phone and use hk room editor on your phone but make sure that you have backup all your photos and phone that data through titanium backup. You can watch its videos on youtube also. There is a channel super sarath you can watch everything on that .you can increase your app storage and by searching on the net about this method of hk rom editor. Hope it will be helpful for you.

Same thing happen with me . I DONT understand why they release this update if the phone is not capable for the update. They have to release some update for this issue or else release new update with 8 gb rom. this is frustrating that new app cannot be install on the phone then what is use of that phone it this really a smart invention.
