The Q10 is the first model running the new Blackberry 10 operating system to feature a full QWERTY keyboard. Built for loyal fans of the Blackberry typing experience, it mixes a comfortable hardware keyboard with refined gesture controls and an app based ecosystem.
As Jonathan Bray of PcPro points out, “The Q10 leaves no key hardware feature out, with Bluetooth, NFC, Wi-Fi and 4G all present and correct.” In fact, it managed to bridge the past with the present quite nicely for something designed like an old Blackberry.
Unfortunately, it doesn’t sit well with those used to the full touch interface. Half of the device is keyboard, while the other half is a small square display, making this phone a bad bet for viewing multimedia content. However, for a keyboard addict, Tim Stevens from Engadget agrees that the Q10 is “unquestionably the best phone with a keyboard on the market.”
The Good: Awesome physical keyboard, ability to run apps.
The Bad: Small screen with bad aspect ratio, limited app selection compared to Android & Apple.

- Cosmin Vasile, SoftpediaI’m convinced the Q10 should have been the first BlackBerry 10 smartphone launched on the market. It would have certainly stopped BlackBerry’s fans exodus to other platforms with the right marketing.I believe the Q10 is the spiritual successor of the traditional BlackBerry smartphone and...

- Matt Egan, Tech AdvisorBlackBerry's Q10 is filled with many creative features but its ultimate success will come down to one basic question: Do you want a qwerty device? I don't think the era of the qwerty is over, since I have met users who prefer a physical keyboard. But they are in the definite minority. What Q10 users...

- K. T. Bradford, Digital TrendsEven though it doesn’t have a giant display, the BlackBerry Q10 may prove more interesting to mainstream users than the Z10. After all, there are a million touchscreen smartphones in the world. There aren’t many phones with good physical keyboards (and the competition mainly consists of...

- Jonathan Morris, Pocket GamerThe Q10 is one of the only devices you're going to find these days with a keyboard. Pretty much every manufacturer using Android has given up.But don't assume this is because everyone else has given in to BlackBerry and its huge success, because it's more likely that most users have now found touchs...

- Mike Norris, BitBitByteThe BlackBerry Q10 is a great phone. It’s small and very pocketable, features top notch hardware and a capable/promising OS. In terms of hardware alone, it’s a definite recommendation. As for software, it’s a bit more of an “approach with caution”. There are apps, sure....
