You need not do much jugglery. You have too many gmail accounts or even o'e account n all aito synchs are on. Max keep couple of accounts on auto synch that too not all features.... just keep auto synch on what u need for specfic accounts.... I came to know this simple solution after 9 months

This is horrible my dear huawei !! Contact and message are frustrating me ... Try to fix this asap. I have tried everthing above and found those just temporary. Seem we can't find a permanent solution until huawei release the bug fix !!

Me to facing same problem, but once factory reset again same issue, and i need to reinstall all importent apps and previous chatting are left ------------- I have best solution, to through in to the see and buy new Samsung On7

Contacts suddenly appear and disappear. It is common with some Huwaei version for a reason that needs to be addressed by Huwaei team.

Why people from huawei did not answer or try to give solution. Are you listening or not .. . . I have same prob on contact displays , when number installed before call me did not recognised the person. Messaging too also same . . .blank blank

Problem solved. Simply switch off the sync with contacts of all the accounts especially google account. My problem is solved in Honor 4C.. Settings>google account>unselect the sync contacts.

This phone contact issue is really frustrating and disappointing for either huawei or google. i cant imagine picking calls with unknow contacts while i have the number stored with a name. this is bad.

I just disabled auto sync contact in my google and i hope this resolve the issue.

Also i want to ask if upgrading to lollipop will resolve this issue and if not can i roll back to kit kat. I use honor 4c kit kat

I have the same problem too, for android 4.4.2
anyway to update the android version ? I think the problem is related to this version because people having Galaxy S5 with the version 4.4.2 had the same problem until they upgraded the android version to 5.
for this problem, you simply need to stop auto-syncing for contacts, I think this will be enough.

i bought honor 6 same issue is here from past couple of days my contacts messages r not displaying... hanging issue please suggest us what to do?

Same problem from last many months... I think after the last upgrade... I have 2 problems; contact doesn't display & messages also don't display... also sms doesn't fall in their own conversation...
Today I installed 3rd party app; Contact+ & messages+ app & everything works fine in this apps.... to cross verify the contacts, I again opened the default contact & message app, there the problem still persists...
Conclusion : install 3rd party app & use... till the new update is released for this phone...

I had same problem and i did several system restores and found out that it was always after whatsapp installation when this bug occurred. Has anyone detected the same? This is majore bug by huawei and its truly horrible that it has not been fixed by huawei!
