after switch off  then on  mobile  contact not showing & also suddenly  showing  on display contact not respond ?   my mobile honor 4c   

Hi Iam using huawei h30 u10 3c/c3  the media files are not being add on music app or music player.  What seems to be problem? Please mail me in your earlies. Thanks

There are a number of ways, as below. The first two of these may be disabled on some networks/carriers or Android versions however.

1) Go to Settings – More – Application Manager. Then swipe from right to left until you are on the All screen (at the top). Then scroll down to Contacts Storage – Clear Data.

2) Go to Contacts. Then press Menu – Delete. Then press Select all (at the top) and then Delete again.

3) Go to Settings – Accounts and sync. Then untick Background data and Auto-sync. Then go to Gmail (or an account that your phone syncs with) and delete all of your Contacts from there. Then re-sync your phone.

4) Download an App called ‘Delete All Contacts’ and use that as a last resort.

The methods above will delete contacts from the phone only, not the SIM card.

Finally found a solution for my Huawei G Play mini...hope this will be useful for everyone too. Just go to settings, your google account, go to search section, then go to InApps and untick contacts....That's it

I got it! In my opinion, If you running out of space on internal storage, it can occurs the problem. Try to move some apps to the SD card from settings. Yeah and don't forget to uninstall those google craps like google play music,news and ect if you don't use them. Hey, don't forget to clear the data on google app. Yeah it's a bitch! It will free up your space about 300mb. And restart you phone. Now its working fine! Upgrade the Android version will work. But I think when we install an upgrade then the same thing is happening because it will erase the data on internal storage and it causes to free up some space. Try it now and it will work! Thanks guys! If it won't work please send me your software version! 

I too face the same predicament.

My two cents worth :  relax, don't panic.. although you one need probably a whole night's sleep.  Find a possible time to switch off everything, no connection to anything; best if can be turned off; even better if you could drain out your battery altogether.  Charge the phone to the full, preferably without any "disturbance"--that's why its best to do it when you are about to go to bed, early, hopefully.

As you  wake up afresh, insya Allah, your phone will be too.

I suspect that such happen when we are doing something heavy on the phone, run multiple apps, loading a broken link, gaming, wazing, etc, all at the time when the battery is quite low or now being charged properly.  Try as you may to clear its cache, uninstall, reinstall, backup, reboot, the whole works, it still wont work.

Just give it a full charge, it does wonders as a good sleep does to us.

Firstly syncronise your accounts and contacts , If it is not resolved second option is to remove your Gmail or active account which linked with contacts and reinstall or add the same account finally restart your phone. definitely it will work..

Hi guys.I have a honor 3c with same issue. I verified that the issue is raised up when whatsapp is installed. I've 4k contacts.

I also faced this contact not showing problem with my Honor 5X. Tried a lot to fix that issue but it still comes. I disabled builtin contact app and contact storage as well and tried installing 3rd party contact app from Google Play Store but the error didn't go away. I thought there was problem with syncing the contacts with google account. Because Google keep email addresses used in your mailbox in your contacts as well. So my contacts numbers were more than 10k. You see that was the main reason it was taking so much time to display contacts while syncing. I tried something myself and VOILA it worked. I followed these steps 1- Reset the phone. 2- Skip the Google Sign in the beginning. 3- Export google contacts in .vcf file by logging into google on my desktop. 4- Copy the exported file into SD Card. 5- Goto->contacts->import/export->import from sd card->select .vcf File->import It will take a while importing contacts from file. Finally all you have to do is: 6- Goto->contacts->contacts to display-> select Phone Only Now go to phone settings and add your google account. Turn on/off syncing as per your requirement. Now contacts will not hang up no more... :) Hope That Helps. :)

Alsalamo Alikom, I am Eng Mohamed Salah Today, I will give you the final solution for Contacts problem in Huawei Honor 4x 1- Close Sync. contacts over google account. (go to Settings>accounts>google>open ur account>make sure that Sync Contacts is switched off.) 2- Go to Play Store>search on > DW Contacts (free one) and install it without open. 3- Go to Setting>Manage app.>search for DW Contacts and open> choose Move to SD Card. 4- If u have ur contacts on SD or over Bluetooth open it now (000x.vcf file) 5- the device will ask u if u want contact to Sync over (Phone Contact - DW Contacts)>>>>choose (DW Contacts) 6- after Sync. has finished open DW Contact>>>u will find all contacts. 7- NOW open Phone Contacts>>>>u will find ALL Contacts-Log-SMS without any problem...but take care (Whatsapp,... etc) will duplicate some of ur contacts. 8- Restart ur device Now....Alsalamo Alikom.

My Honor 6 Plus has the same problem where contacts, Dialer and messaging screen was hanging. I disabled the Auto Sync for Google contacts , and after that everything started working normally. Go to Settings> Accounts> Google > Your Gmail account > Uncheck Sync Contacts. Good luck !

settings---->accounts--->google-->switch off the auto synch for all the services you can see there...it should work

I found the solution for our problem in youtube, here how 1. Go to manage apps 2. Find google+ app 3. Uninstall update for that app,clear cache,clear data and force stop. 4. Find favorite contact, do the same as g+ app. 5. Go back check your contacts, some how it become smoother and faster. 6. Or search on youtube " contacts have stoped problem" for android.

(Reported solution of Hiral_27320 and Carl P worked:) I have the Huawei P7 and I had the same problem until now. I think the problem is the already by Huawei preinstalled "Contacts"-App which regulates the Contacts and Calls on the phone. I fixed it by replacing the "Contacts"-App with the App "RocketDial Dialer & Contacts" (should work with other 3rd party apps too). It works fine now and the contacts you have on your phone are transfered. (As there are different mobile phones a backup before is always recommended). 1. download "RocketDial Dialer & Contacts" and install on phone 2. deactivate "Contacts"-app and stop application 3. delete data from "Contacts"-app (it's a button in the same menu where you deactivate and stop the app) 4. restart your mobile 5. from now on you use only "RocketDial Dialer & Contacts"
