I am facing a problem with WiFi.. it's not connect with other device, hotspot, router even share it also.. BT when I switch off n on the phone than just for first time its connected.... bt after that same issues are coming.... I have done factory reset.. bt problem is same.... can any one help, please...

I too have problem where it's not detecting any Wifi,, i did fectory reset .. still looks issue persist , i am using my laptop wifi as hotspot, not sure how to change frequency there.. :(

I have a solution for this, just change ur freq to 20/40 Mhz in your router, problem will fly away... :)

i have a new problem .
not showing any wifi device near by .
even when i crate a hotspot it is showing but not connecting with it .

Guys I got this phone yesterday and I think that wifi issue is correct. I am also facing that same problem. When my phone is within 5 meter from the router then it is working properly, but whenever I go beyond that distance it's performance sucked. I don't know how to fix it and what is the solution. I think we all whoever is facing this problem should inform to lenovo, such that they update the system and we can download it. Yu Yurekra had some problem with proximity sensors and after complaining they did a update and fixed it.

Dear all, thanks for your comments. one thing i am want to share. only one or two people say wifi is good. for me it is pathetic. the connection shows good but there is no data transfer. every time i need to go to flight mode and come back, most of the time this also not working. i don't know how to fix the wifi problem. any body having answer this please let me know to my mail id. After i purchase this mobile i am crying to get connect to the wifi. Mine is BSNL connection, it will have good speed in 3g but in 2g it is not working.

i didn't know why??? i was sitting with the router next to me, it was just about 1 meter away, even closer... but the speed was extremely slow about ~20KB/s... I'd tested with iPad Mini 2 and my Laptop in the further range and they still got max speed ~1MB/s.... I don't think my Router has any problems because all my other devices works good... Just only the A7000 sucks with wifi... Does anyone have any solutions, please help me!

Hmm.. Then problem may be because of bad router placement and bad coverage for network signals.

In comparison to other devices in its price range WiFi speeds are very good and the reception also is much better than lots of phones

I don't know if you guys got a defective piece but on my lenovo a7000 the WiFi speed is very good. Obviously you can't compare its speed to devices like one plus one which have wifi-ac standard while lenovo a7000 has b/g/n. But ith the other mobiles in it's price range

same here, it performs ~20KBps on my 8Mbps router, sometimes even near the router is the same, totally sucks with wifi connection, someone who can fix it please share it right here or email me

Yes... it is pathetic!... It will give you optimum network speed only when the mobile is very near to router. As soon it gets little away or say in another room, wifi speed will become limbo. It gives wifi speed of 10-20 KBps on a rounter having net sppeed of 5Mbps when signal strength in wifi shows "good"!!! Useless wifi
