Tell me that,if any body have insurance of ZenFone 5

Zenfone 5 is having this serious problem. I too suffered with this within a month a buying it.any amount of mail or call to all executives landed me at yhe same place. Pl get it replaced @ rs 5000.
Really, disgusting for such a otherwise nive phone. And company turns a closed eye to all this.
My second and last product from Asus for ever.

My zenfone 5 phone touch has been broken and it has also been broken from lower left corner below the home screen button so is there any body available for the front portion or it comes with the touch pannel

sir my asuse phone fall from my had on rock.... Unfortunately glass brocken ...... but tuch working .... how many it cost to change... is their any possible to change glass with out chenging display

My zenphone 5 (2gb+ 8 gb) also dropped from my shirt pocket when i was putting it after call. it just broke from top left corner. till now it is working with minor deficiencies. I tried to approach service center for replacing screen but they are asking for 5k for replacing screen which is more 70% cost of new mobile. what a joke .

Then i tried local repairing store and cost was about 3200 which is high too.

So now i am searching online for new touch screen which is costing about 1500-2100 (different stores).

So best plan to change your asus screen to buy one online and replace with help oo local repairing store. ( It may be risky if new screen didn`t work and seller refuse to replace it )

I am very disappointed with asus for making such a weak screen and advertising it as gorilla glass 3 which broke too easily.
I am also planning to go in consumer forum . We should also do publicity for such a weak screen and i am finding a way to unite customers who got cheated with such companies ads.
kindly suggest a way to share this fraud of weak screen of asus.
So that new ignorant customer don`t get trapped in Asus's net.

My is just 30cm high droop touchpad is broken. I am going to service center he said to 5000/- I am shocked. Please don't perched the phone touchpad is very bad condition. I am telling all friends. Please tell to solloction

My humble request is please don't go for ASUS brand. The screen is not really related to gorilla and they charge almost equal to new phone. It will break easily even if falls down from 2-3 feet height.

My Zenfone 5 display started vibrating (horizontal lines) while I was simply watching a video. It also had a problem with the headset(speaker) when I bought it which was fixed but now it is back along with a strange display!

Hi guys day before yesterday my Asus zenfone 5 gorrila glass broken when just a 40cm height...i asked to near by service center he said 7000 rupees around will come and response is not good...he said u go complaint anywhere i don't care...this is un responsible answer i never hear it from anyone...i m totally upset

I bought Asus Zenfone 5 ( 8GB) from flipkart 8 months ago.
-> 1st prob: My cell was not charging when it is switch on, it could charge while switching off it and stuck at ASUS logo.
when i contact to service center they said its due to moisture at charging connector and will not consider it in warranty ( my god- is it the reliable answer from service center?) i need to drop cell to service center for 7 days and it will be charged 2,000/- for it as they don`t have spares in stock.( what d hell? its asus's authorized service center and they don`t have spares in stock? is this the way for customer service support?)
Solution: after getting such responce from asus, I repaired my cell phone at local repaire center at just Rs. 700/- and they repaired it within 2 Hrs. I am so much happy.

-> 2nd Problem: while putting my phone on desk, accidently it dropped from my hand and my Corning Gorilla Glass Broke ( is it the quality of Corning Gorilla Glass of Asus? it just dropped from 2 Feet height) I think asus is fooling people by saying Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
Again i contacted to service center and said the problem, they replied it will take 7-10 days to replace the LCD screen and it will cost 5054/- ( my god).
Solution: I ordered New LCD screen from Ebay at 1500/- and bring it to local mobile repaire shop and they guy replaced the lcd at just 300/- , so total cost Rs. 1800/- of Replacement of Asus zenfone 5 LCD.

Suggestion: I advice the buyers not to go for Asus Mobile phones, Very Bad after sales service support. Instead i suggest Microsoft Lumia & Samsung for Best After Sales service support.

Finally, some place where I can say, I know how that feels brother. I have zenfone 4. I bought it for 6K but now its selling for 5K. First of all, I must say the gorilla glass was good. I had the phone from one year and it has fallen atleast 30-40 times. Finally, it broke but the best thing is that the touch is working perfect and the LCD is intact. But, when I contacted Asus Dehradun Service Center, he said to me that it will cost me 4k and literally, I was like, dude seriously..??..5k k phone me 4k ki screen hi h BC.
I suggest you guyz to instead get the screen from ebay and get it replaced from some local shop. I'm getting my screen for 1.25k after applying coupons on ebay ;)
For noobs--
If your glass is broken and touch is working/not working but the display is showing correctly then you need to buy touch screen digitizer/ touch panel only. In case the glass and touch is working but screen is black, get display only....if nothing is working, get both screen digitizer and display.

Asus phone is a useless...I just hate this phone company...there is many problems with each asus mobile phone....I advice to everyone dont buy the asus phone
