How to delete an outbox message on the Motorola Droid Razr M?

Im trying to delete a message in my outbox that has a bad email address. When I touch message, popup says cannot open message because its being sent. It has been this way over a day now, and I keep getting notification of unsent mail b/c of bad domain. How do I permanently delete this outgoing email???

That will not help. I have this come up many times. I restart the phone as often as I want, it just continues. The only way I have found to help this is to delete the e-mail account from the phone and re-setup the account. I hate having to do this every few weeks. If someone has a better idea that hasn't already been tried please help.

Restart your phone. That should stop the message from re-sending. You should then be able to delete it.
