The Samsung Vice is a horizontal slider that offers a solid feature mix. Closed, the Vice offers a 2.2 inch, 240 x 320 pixel resolution display, a large, circular navigation pad with dedicated “send” and “end” keys familiarly located on the left and right respectively, and an alpha-numeric keypad consisting of responsive but slightly too small buttons.
Open, the Vice reveals a full QWERTY keyboard. This particular keyboard consists of keys which are uniform, small, rectangular cut-outs and without tactile differentiation, which can make typing difficult. The Vice is not alone in this, and a test drive is never a bad idea when shopping around, especially if you plan to do a lot of texting.
The Vice offers a 2MP camera, video record, Bluetooth, GPS, MP3, Speakerphone and a full suite of basic phone features. With the Samsung Vice, you can SMS, MMS, and send and receive email.
With up to four hours of talk time and up to 230 hours of standby time, the Samsung Vice is a contender in the very crowded slider slice of the cell phone market.
What the Critics Are Saying...

The best quality about the Vice is it’s price point at $49.95 on a 3-year contract. This is currently exclusively available at Bell and is a North Am...
Had this phone for 11 months now. It's a ok phone. Most durable phone so far. The problems are: slow web browsing, and some times there is a miss reading of miss messages, where u have to scroll through all the messages to find the txt u missed. Also the phone feels bulky with the hard case. Phone is only good for txting but not browsing the web.
