This probably isn’t as new as the Nokia Xseries phones that were just unveiled, but nonetheless, is still new. The Nokia N97 Mini is now official and will be available as early as next month.

Nokia N97 Mini

As expected, it looks like an identical twin of the Nokia N97 sans the 5-way navigation pad which is responsible for the additional extra inches in its size. Feature-wise, it boasts of a 3.2-inch touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss lens, dual LED flash, Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR support, WiFi, A-GPS, voice navigation, 8GB internal memory (expandable up to 24GB via microSD card), and of course we can’t forget its slide-out QWERTY keypad. It also comes loaded with Lonely Planet guidebooks which frequent travelers and adventure seekers will surely find handy.

Here’s a promotional video of the Nokia N97 Mini courtesy of Nokia Conversations:

The Nokia N97 Mini will retail for €450 (around $639), but it was, however, added that it should be free on contract in “many, many markets” once it hits store shelves in October.
