What you’re looking at folks is another upcoming HTC handset dubbed as the HTC Mega. While it may look a lot like the HTC Leo and will also run on Windows Mobile 6.5, the Mega will be a more toned-down version targeting those on a limited budget.

As such is the case, it will only come with a 528MHz Qualcomm processor as opposed to the faster Snapdrgon processor found on the Leo. A 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen, 3.2-megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.0, WiFi, A-GPS, TouchFLO 2D UI, and WCDMA/HSPA and quad-band GSM support round up the rest of its other specs. There’s really nothing outstanding as far as its features are concerned nor is its looks exceptional in anyway based on these snapshots courtesy of ai.rs blog, but at least we now know that if ever the HTC Leo is way too expensive for our budget, we’ve got its more affordable twin to look forward to.

No word, though, on how much it will exactly cost, but considering its pretty modest specs, we’re guessing it’ll be somewhere in the $300-400 price range. Its release date is also still yet to be known.
