When talking about touchscreen phones, it’s hard not to include in the discussion HTC as they’ve got their fair share of finger-friendly goodies in the market. Now, thanks to ai.rs blog, we get to catch a glimpse of what could possibly be their next touchscreen offering, the HTC Leo.

The HTC Leo comes with a very generously sized WVGA capacitive touchscreen display that measures in at 4.3-inches. It also features a 5-megapixel autofocus camera with flash, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, HSDPA connectivity, and a 3.5mm jack, but what truly sets this apart from HTC’s previous offerings is that the Leo will be their first Snapdragon-equipped handset. A 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 8250 processor will be at the heart of the Leo making this one of their fastest phones to date. It will run on Windows Mobile 6.5 and is also pretty slim as it's only 11.1mm thin.

It hasn’t officially been announced so don’t get too excited about it just yet. It was, however, reported that it’s scheduled for an October release. We’ve got nothing to verify this information at the moment, but at least we’ve got a date to look forward. All we can do for now is just drool over the images provided above.
