Staying true to their game plan, Samsung has officially announced not one, not two, but a total of four new Omnia handsets.

Samsung Omnia 2 I8000
This isn’t the first time we’re seeing the Samsung I8000, but now, we can officially call it the Samsung Omnia II. As expected, this new Omnia comes with an adequately sized 3.7-inch WVGA 800×480 AMOLED display, WiFi, GPS, HSDPA 7.2Mbps /HSUPA 5.76Mbps connectivity, 480p video recording and playback, runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 (upgradeable to WM 6.5) with TouchWiz 2.0 UI, and up to 48GB storage. No mention about the exact specs of its camera, but rumor has it that it should be an 8-megapixel autofocus camera.

Samsung Omnia Lite B7300The Omnia Lite B7300, on the other hand, is completely new to us. It features a full touchscreen, 3-megpixel camera, WiFi, A-GPS, HSDPA connectivity, and push email support. As far as software is concerned, it comes with a Microsoft Office suite, and a full HTML Opera web browser. Sasmung didn’t go into the particulars this since we’re assuming that they want us to focus more on the better-featured and more expensive Omnia II. We'll probably get more details on this phone as the months go by.

Samsung OmniaPro B7610Meanwhile, the Samsung Louvre B7610 is now officially known as the OmniaPro B7610. It comes with an AMOLED display, 5-megapixel camera, GPS, and HSDPA and WiFi connecitivity. Push email support for multiple accounts, a Microsoft Office Suite as well as an Opera 9.5 browser are also confirmed on-board.

Samsung OmniaPro B7320
Last, but certainly not the least, there’s also the Samsung OmniaPro B7320. This one takes its design cue from the Samsung BlackJack series. It’s a QWERTY-equipped candybar that features a 3-megapixel camera, WiFi, FM radio with RDS, and provides quick access to social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace as well as instant messaging services like MSN, Google Talk, and Yahoo Chat.

Pricing and availability of these new Samsung Omnia phones were not disclosed, but we hear that the Omnia II will be hitting Verizon later this year. So, see anything that tickles your fancy or do you think these new mobile phones are just your regular run-of-the-mill handsets slapped with the Omnia brand to make it sound more fancy?
