Right on schedule, Bell is now offering the LG Rumour 2 as part of their line-up. In addition to its presence on Bell, this successor to the LG Rumour is now also available on Solo Mobile.
What’s even better is that the 3-yr contract price with Bell is actually more affordable than what we’d expected. It’ll now cost $39.95 as opposed to the rumored $69.95. A 2-yr and 1 year price, however, remains the same at $119.95 and $219.95 respectively. Outright price also still stands at $269.95.
Solo Mobile, meanwhile, is offering it for $50 on a 2-yr contract and $160 outright. Safe to say, if you don’t want any further obligations to the carrier, buying the LG Rumour 2 outright from Solo Mobile is the more practical choice.
Of course, the LG Rumour 2 isn’t a match for the latest QWERTY handsets such as the HTC Touch Pro2 and Nokia N97. Nonetheless, it does provide consumers with a decent QWERTY-equipped handset that won’t cost an arm and a leg.

Buy from bell, ask them to connect it. It should work….
I am on my 3rd LG Rumour 2 since I bought it two weeks ago.
I dealt with the issue until yesterday and couldn’t take it anymore. They gave me a new one and it did it again. I am sure this one will to.
Here is the problem: I use the front keyboard the most. I don’t like the drop down menu of words as it slows typing down. So I turn it off. The phone is fine. I can scroll through the words (ie. good, home, gone, etc) than BAM. It doesn’t work anymore. I try to scroll and can only get the numbers. I have been told with the rumour that you have to use the drop down menu, I guess that would be fine IF I knew it didn’t sometimes work the other way!
After a week and a half, it also deleted My Words. Huge inconvience after spending $300 on a phone.
I apparently have to wait for the manager on Monday to discuss getting a new different phone. I would not recommend this phone to anyone. It is not dependable
I bought a Solo Rumour 2 not even a month ago and the camera keeps freezing the phone . Is this a known problem does anyone know .
You can’t buy the bell phone and ask Solo to connect it. I was talking to a Solo representative and they said that Solo has a very different system than the other companies and they have to program their phones so that they will work with their system

ive had my rumour since summer. ever since thanks giving i cannot get onto my web browser without my cell auotmatically resetting itself..so i can no longer get on my web.so i will be able to take it in and get it fixed

i have a rumour 2 and it works perfectly fine. pretty heavy though compared a lot of other phones out there. the camera sucks pretty badly since it’s only 1.3 megapixels and it has no video recording, but takes decent photos for a cheap phone. btw u can get this phone for free with virgin.
My daughter has the LG Rumour 2 (orange) it SUCKS…. about a month ago, the screen was messing up, it was all kinds of funky colours. Now the screen keeps flashing with the “LG” logo and she can’t do anything with it. The phone is not even 1 year old. I thought “LG” stood for “Lifes Good” that is a crock of shit cause her life is not good when she can’t use her phone. Anyone else have this problem?

I brought the L G Rumour 2 form Solo, for my granddaughter for Christmas. It was working ok until a month ago when it started to turn off every time she text on it. I send it away to be fixed; they phoned and said the problem wasn’t covered under the warranty, so I paid for the repair. Got the phone back yesterday it still turning off when you text, they didn’t fix the phone. The L G Rumour 2 is garbage and the company is just ripping people off. I wouldn’t recommend the L G Rumour 2 to anyone.
i have nothing good to say about solo mobile or the lg rumor/ lg rumor 2. i went through 3 lg rumors, and just about a week ago moved onto the lg rumor 2. i have already experienced problems with the lg rumor 2 freezing. solo also tricks you into spending more money! i suggest you not use solo mkobile, especially the lg rumors!
My brother got an lg rumour 2 for his b-day almost a year ago and it still works perfectly fine. Nothing has ever gone wrong with it. All these people saying the screen is freezing and is flashing colours must have done something to make it do that (i.e. dropping it many times) i also have a lg rumour 2 and mine doesn’t work as well but this is because it was dropped mannnnnyyyyyy times. the more abuse you put on your phone the less its going to work right. phones weren’t made to be dropped on the ground a million times and still work.
you can get the LG rumour 2 through PC mobile pay as you go as well. I was going to get it for my son but have been hearing of so many problems that we will stay away from this one. His friend is having all kinds of problems with his and even if they say they will fix it, that leaves you without a phone in the meantime – and apparently it is often not even fixed once you finally get it back.

hey guys ive had my lg rumour 2 for about a year now. i just lost my waranty about 2 weeks ago becasuse ive had it for a year, and it has broken again. i broke it once in february when the card was all screwed up and they sent me it back all fixed, but it was upsidedown and backwords and turning off, and now it just wont charge. this is the second time ive had issues with the charger UGH. im getting the lg rumour touch SOOOO MUCH BETTEr.

Problem: I received a text the other day, and went to reply. But my phone froze. Being frozen, it wouldn’t turn off so I took out the battery instead. I waited a couple minutes then put the battery back in. When I tried to turn it on again, it wouldn’t turn on. When I hold the power button, the LG symbol is there for a couple seconds then starts flashing. ???
I already tried charging it over night and switching the battery with a friend that has the same phone. I now know it isn’t the battery because my battery in her phone works and her battery in my phone doesn’t. So it is a problem with the phone, not the battery. Does anybody have any solutions?

I got the black lg rumor 2 about a month ago and i am on a 3 year contract.. does unlimited texting include long distance text? And picture text too?
Two days ago I received a phone call for a free cell phone, unlimited international texting, and free weekends, and 7pm to 7am free weekdays, with 2000 minutes, at $30/m canadian. Bell Canada with Solo. I am confused. The needed my driver’s license, which at first I was hesitant, they called and confirmed, and I received a follow up email with my new cell phone number. They keep asking me to activate my account, which I am refusing to do, until I see the phone. I emailed the head office for Solo and bell and told them, you don’t activate a cell phone that you don’t have???? They are telling me my billing date is from the 19th of Sept. When I just received the phone call on the 16th of September,and don’t have a phone yet. I am beginning to think this is some kind of a scam, I am waiting for another email to say they want to set up a pay pal account or something to pay the $30/month. At first their account started talking about a ‘pay as you go’, I emailed them back saying it was suppose to be a flat $30 a month. They want me to sign and confirm a Contract, I said, for what, I don’t even have a phone yet. I am wondering now what they can do with my driver’s license, and what they intend on doing. I will be surprised if I get a cell phone in the mail. Has anyone experienced this, is it a scam,if so what more do I have to look forward to, and should I call the police?
Ruth-Anne , this is a known scam going on, it is not actually bell solo , but a telemarketing company . please call Bell/Solo , tell them what happened, and to cancel the account.
Solo LG Rumour 2 sucks 1 yr left and I will never deal with them again……
I can I fix my cell phone I have a LG Rummor 2 from Solo and the screen is mirrored image if i look in a mirror I can see everything….
