We’ve featured the Samsung S8000 touchscreen phone before, but apart from its 5-megapixel autofocus camera and dual LED flash, we hardly knew what else it had to offer.

samsung-s8000That’s about to change though, as Unwiredview has managed to get the scoop on the complete specs of this new Samsung touchscreen phone. The Samsung GT-S8000, otherwise known as the Cubic, comes with a 3.1-inch 400x800 16M color AMOLED touchscreen display, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, dual-band UMTS (900/2100MHz), quad-band EDGE, and will feature Samsung’s next generation TouchWIZ UI. The new iteration TouchWIZ will provide a cube-like interface similar to LG’s S-Class 3D UI which explains the Cubic name. Unfortunately, details regarding price and availability weren’t divulged yet.

The good news is that the GT-S8000 is only the first of 3 Cubic phones. We’re guessing the M8000 is probably the second one, but we’re still clueless as to what the third and last Cubic phone will look like. Considering that the M8000 is almost an identical twin of the S8000, the third installment will most likely come with the same design elements as well though we’re still hoping that it'll be more exceptional.
