As a testament to their dominance in the touchscreen phone market, Samsung is reportedly working on two new touchscreen phones both of which have just been leaked: the Samsung S8000 and the M8000.

The Samsung S8000, shown above, features a 5-megapixel autofocus camera and dual-LED flash. It also comes with a new hexagonally shaped home button which could just be for aesthetic purposes only or be a new way to navigate the phone that will complement its touchscreen display. We're not quite sure yet, but we're hoping to get more details on this one as the months go by.

Meanwhile, the Samsung M8000 may appear to be just the same as the S8000, but looking more closely, you’ll notice that there’s a music control key just above its display. It also features a 3.5mm jack, USB port, camera and LED flash at the back, and what could be a front-facing VGA camera as well.

That’s it for now. For more pics, you can check them out here. We’re keeping our fingers crossed that these two will make it to the launch table before the 1H of 2009 comes to a close so by then, we’ll get the official juicy details on what these pair of touchscreen phones have to offer.
