Someone from AT&T has just spilled the beans and has confirmed that a new iPhone is indeed on the way.

The new iPhone will feature a U-Verse app which will allow control of home DVR systems, and is much faster and unmatched by any of the current devices in the market today. It is also rumored to come with HSDPA 7.2Mbps connectivity as well which ties in nicely with the tethering support in OS 3.0 if and when mobile carriers finally decide to allow it on their networks. These revelations, however, are mostly focused on features, and we still haven’t got the slightest clue as to what it’ll look like.

For what it's worth, it's looking pretty good so far, and we're hoping more details will surface in the coming months. Anyway, the announcement is expected to be made in mid-June. It’s just a couple of months away so a little patience should be exercise for the time being.
