If you’re a loyal Bell subscriber and want to get the latest Palm smartphone, you might want to hold off on purchasing a Palm Centro (CDMA) until February 26th.

According to recent reports, Bell is set to launch the Palm Treo Pro on that day with a rumored price of $199.95 on a 3-yr $45/month data plan. So far, the Palm Treo Pro is the latest Palm smartphone available since the Palm Pre has yet to be officially released. Just to refresh you on its specs, the Palm Treo Pro comes with a 320x320 touchscreen display, 2-megapixel camera, WiFi, GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, microSDHC card support of up to 32GB in capacity, and runs on Windows Mobile 6.1.

There’s also news that Bell will be offering the Samsung Omnia and BlackBerry Niagara sometime in the second quarter of 2009. The BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 and Palm Pre are also rumored to be hitting Bell at the earliest in late Q2 or early Q3.

So, the question now is; will you still be getting a Palm Centro, or will you now start saving up for the new treats headed Bell’s way later this year?
