Aside from the new S8300 Ultra Touch phone, Samsung is apparently also ready to launch the latest iteration of their TouchWiz interface at the Mobile World Congress.

It boasts of new 3D effects, enhanced haptic feedback, new gesture and voice controls, a widget dock for better management of downloaded widgets, and a new Photo Contact features that makes use of face detection technology to help you better integrate photos with your contact list. All in all, it’s not such a bad update, but hopefully, the improvements won’t be limited to just visual enhancements and will also translate to better performance.

It’s already bundled with S8300 Ultra Touch phone, but we’ve yet to hear which other Samsung phones that will also be fitted with this new UI. More details we’ll most likely be revealed by next week when the MWC finally rocks Barcelona.
