The Samsung S8300 has been featured in the past already albeit in the leaked fashion way, but it seems that the #2 mobile phone manufacturer in the world is now ready unveil it to the public.

Samsung has officially announced that they will debut the Samsung S8300 Ultra Touch at the Mobile World Congress this month. If you may recall, the S8300 was reported to come equipped with a 2.8-inch AMOLED touchscreen display, 8-megapixel CCD camera with autofocus, optical joystick and 7.2Mbps HSDPA connectivity. While the display, camera megapixel rating and HSDPA are confirmed already, we have yet to hear about the inclusion of a CCD-based camera and optical joystick. It also comes with A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, FM radio with RDS, video recording at 30fps, 80MB internal memory and support for microSDHC cards of up to 16GB in capacity. It’s pretty slim as well measuring only 12.7mm in thickness.

Pricing and availability hasn’t been announced just yet, but those details will probably be revealed when the company finally unveils the S8300 Ultra Touch at the MWC.
