Dell working on a Smartphone?

Aside from Acer, it looks like Dell is also planning to get a piece of the action in the mobile phone industry.

The renowned PC maker is rumored to be producing a smartphone set for launch in the next couple of months. This is according to a Kaufman Bros. analyst and Dell’s hiring of Ron Garruques, otherwise known as the man behind the MotoRAZR phone, back in 2007. Considering that this isn’t the first time this rumor circulated on the internet, we’re just about ready to throw this into the trash bin, but since the GSMA Mobile World Congress is less than a month away, we’ll wait until then to formally classify it as pure nonsense.
