Remember that LG KC910 phone we featured a while back that’s the successor to the LG Viewty?

We now have some live pics for you of this soon-to-be-released phone and it has received the official LG Renoir name to make it sound more stylish as opposed to its the KC910 model name. You can still expect to find the large 3-inch WQVGA 240x400 touchscreen display on the Renoir and 8-megapixel camera with Schneider-Kreuznach lens and Xenon flash, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, and 3G/HSDPA. With the surfacing of these live images, it looks like the Renoir is on track for an October debut.

Personally, the only thing I dislike about the Renoir so far is that it has an uncanny resemblance to the iPhone. How hard is it to come up with a unique design for a touchscreen device these days? HTC has done it, LG should also do the same so that they’ll at least have an identity of their own.
