We might not have to wait long before we finally get to see Nokia’s first full touchscreen-enabled phone, the Nokia Tube. It’ll likewise premier the S60 5th Edition which will most likely be the OS of choice for use in all Symbian-based touchscreen equipped devices.

Also known as the Nokia 5800 XpressMedia Phone, rumors about its features and design have been floating around the net for quite sometime, but now a release date has been thrown into the mix. October 8 is the supposed launch date and it will be initially offered in the UK. No specifications, pricing and possible carrier were mentioned, but if you look closely at the image, Vodafone might be a possible candidate, and unlike the iPhone 3G or HTC Touch Diamond, the Nokia Tube looks like it’ll come with a stylus pen similar to the Palm Treo Pro.
