Garmin nuviphone, the New Kid on the Block

Garmin uviphone

Garmin, manufacturer of navigation devices, has just announced their entry into the handset business. The nuviphone is a GPS-enabled phone that boasts Garmin’s own operating system including a proprietary web browser. The easy-to-use user interface gives the user quick access to phone calls, the web browser and the navigation interface right on home screen. It doesn’t quite like the iPhone killer but it does connect to high-speed 3.5G HSDPA. No Wi-Fi, however, or camera.
