Nokia 6500

After releasing the N95, Nokia has been concentrating on beautifully designed feature phones like the 6300 and the Luna. The new 6500 is an even slimmer phone than the 6500 and will be released in two versions: Classic candybar and Slider. The Nokia 6500 Classic is only 9.5mm thick with the added desirability that it is metal that you are holding in your hands, not cheap plastic. Specifically, individually-polished anodized aluminum for the entire body with diamond-polished beveled display makes this one of the most intriguing model yet for Nokia. On board is a 2.0 megapixel camera with Dual LED flash as well as 1GB of storage.

The 6500 Slider model has a higher megapixel count than the Classic with an on board 3.2MP Carl Zeiss optics camera and the same Dual LED as the Classic. The 16.4mm-thin body is brushed stainless steel. The higher priced Slider also has TV out feature.

Both the 6500 Classic and Slider are GSM and 3G phones and are priced at €320 for the Classic and €370 for the Slider. Official release is set in Q3.
