Nokia 8600 Luna

I've always liked th Sirocco's fashion sense. I believe it is the classiest-designed phone I've ever laid my eyes on, but for set of features that range from a 2MP integrated camera and pretty much basic Nokia features (triband GSM, EDGE, Bluetooth, MP3 player, no 3G) with the added bonus of actually feeling metal in your palm, the price tag is a little bit on the exorbitant for me - well, actually, it's way out there.

The 8600 "Luna" is Nokia answering the call of consumers for a well-crafted low-end cellphone. The design is unmistakably of the 8800 series. It's most distinctive feature is its smoked glass cover, which when combined with the organic "light effect" makes for a magical user experience ("Black Magic" is another name given to this phone). The 8600, like the 8800 will have an MP3 player and an onboard 2MP camera. Like the 8800, this phone will probably be using the Nokia Series 40 platform.

The 8600 remains an official rumor for now until it is announced on May 25.
