A Verizon iPhone will be available in January 2011. This the bold prediction Bloomberg has based on the information relayed to them by two of their sources who wished to remain anonymous to the public. As much as we'd like to believe this, we're already a bit jaded when it comes to news items like these given the fact that it’s almost every year that we hear that a Verizon iPhone, or at the least a CDMA iPhone, is in the works, but has yet to be proven to be true. However, it is interesting to note that this new report does line-up nicely with one of our previous posts wherein two analysts expressed their strong belief that an iPhone will be debuting on the said US carrier by early next year.
Unfortunately though, similar to past situations, there’s really no strong evidence to support this theory at this point in time. It’s still a waiting game from here on end to see whether this prediction will pan out to be true or not. Be that as it may, the continued resurgence of this rumor does help keep fan alive the hopes of Verizon users out there that the iPhone will soon be available on their beloved carrier.
