They didn’t go as far as to roll-out a full review on it yet, but their quick impressions on the Motorola Droid is enough to convince us that Verizon made the right choice to kick off their Android collection with this baby. We already know that it features a 3.7-inch 480x854 touchscreen, 5-megapixel AF camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, GPS, and CDMA/EVDO Rev. A connectivity. In addition to that, you can now also add Android 2.0 to its list of specs.

BGR is also proud to report that this phone is one pretty slim and sleek device. It’s just slightly thicker than the iPhone 3G S and could make it to the record books as the world’s thinnest QWERTY-equipped slider phone. Its touchscreen and performance was quite remarkable as well. They were so impressed with the Droid that they even went as far as to say that this is “the Android device to beat.”
